SENIOR CARE

A Christmas Message to Our Beloved Senior Citizens

12/30/24, 5:50 AM

Dear treasured elderly members of our nation, As we celebrate this most wonderful time of the year, I extend my warmest greetings of joy, peace, and love to you and your families.

Christmas is a season that reminds us of the true essence of love and giving. It is a time when we come together to share our blessings, strengthen bonds, and create beautiful memories with those who mean the most to us. You, our dear elders, are the heart of your families and communities, bringing wisdom, warmth, and inspiration to all.

In the midst of all the festivities, let us take a moment to reflect on the true meaning of this celebration—the Baby in the Manger, a reminder of God's immense love for humanity. May His light guide us to live with grace and humility as we cherish the moments we share with family and friends.

I encourage you to enjoy the season’s feasts and gatherings but to do so mindfully. Your health is precious to us, so please remember to balance indulgence with moderation. Savor the flavors, but keep your well-being in mind to ensure many more Christmases to come.

At the National Commission of Senior Citizens, we remain steadfast in our mission to be your champion. We are here to uphold your welfare and rights, to listen to your voices, and to ensure that you receive the care and respect you deserve. You are our inspiration and motivation to continue serving with dedication and love.

From the entire NCSC family, we wish you a Merry Christmas filled with love, joy, and the blessings of good health. May the coming year bring renewed hope and countless reasons to smile.

Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year!

With love and prayers,

Dr. Mary Jean P. Loreche, FPSP, FPSO
