Kapuso actress Ashley Ortega has confirmed that she and Mavy Legaspi are in a relationship.

During an episode of Fast Talk With Boy Abunda aired on Monday, Ashley openly admitted their status when asked by Tito Boy.

"I think it’s obvious naman na. Yes," Ashley told the veteran TV host.

Ashley shared that although she met Mavy years ago, they only started spending time together last year.

She explained that their connection deepened after Mavy's breakup with Kyline Alcantara.

She recalled that their closeness began when they went out with friends one night. From there, they continued to bond, with Mavy eventually asking her out for lunch or dinner to get to know each other better.

"I think when he started signing a contract sa Sparkle but we started hanging out more last year. Tapos doon ko talaga siya nakilala," Ashley explained.

"I think it started na parang there was a one night kasama 'yung mga friends namin so doon ko siya nakilala. Then, nagtuloy-tuloy na, and then he asked me out if we can have lunch or dinner together just to get to know each other," she recalled.

Describing Mavy as a thoughtful and generous suitor, Ashley said she appreciates their conversations more than grand gestures or surprises.

"Di naman kasi ako ma-grandeng tao na kailangan ng flowers or surprises or whatsoever. Ano lang talaga more on conversational lang talaga," she said.

Initially, Ashley thought their three-year age gap might mean Mavy was less mature than her. However, she later realized that he was actually the more mature one in their relationship.

Ashley also admitted that they already said "I love you" to each other.

She also already met Mavy's parents, Zoren Legaspi and Carmina Villarroel. She said they have been welcoming towards her.

Speculation about their romance began in January when they were spotted together at the Sinulog Festival in Cebu. #
