Apl.de.Ap, Jo Koy nagluluksa rin sa trahedya sa Vancouver; King Charles, BBM nagkiramay

Nagpahatid ang mga Filipino-American celebrities ng pakikiramay at pakikiisa sa mga Fil-Canadian communities na nagluluksa matapos na araruhin ng isang SUV ang Lapu-Lapu Festival na naging sanhi ng kamatayan ng 11 katao at pagkakasugat sa marami pa noong Sabado ng gabi sa Vancouver, Canada.
Sina Apl.de.Ap ng popular na grupong Black Eyed Peas at J. Rey Soul ay nagperform sa nasabing selebrasyon ng mga Filipino-Canadians na natapos sa malagim na insidente.
Ang sikat na Fil-Am comedian na si Jo Koy ay nagpadala rin ng statement of condolences.

“I am heartbroken to hear what took place at The Vancouver Filipino Festival,” sinabi ni Jo Koy.
Dagdag niya: “This is supposed to be an event that honors and celebrates our beautiful culture, and now we’re mourning the loss of 11 lives that were taken too soon. My heart goes out to everyone that was affected by this horrific event.”
Ayon sa Instagram post ni Apl.de.Ap, o si Allan Pineda Lindo, lubos ang kanyang pagkalungkot sa nangyari sa Vancouver.
“J-Rey and I had just finished performing and left the stage minutes before it happened. It’s hard to describe the shock and the heaviness we feel,” sabi ng Fil-Am performer.
Pinasalamatan din niya ang lahat ng nagpadala ng pakikiisa at pakikiramay sa pamilya ng mga biktima at sa komunidad ng mga Pilipino sa Canada.
“Please keep the victims, their families and the organizers in your prayers. They need all the love and strength right now. The one thing I have noticed - from the audience to the messages sent around - is the sense of community that wraps its loving arms around us. We love you all,” dagdag niya.
Sa kanyang Instagram message, ito naman ang sinabi ni J. Rey Soul: “We were so excited to celebrate the Lapu Lapu Festival with thousands of you in Vancouver. To hear about the tragedy that happened shortly after we performed has left us heartbroken, devastated and still in shock.”
“Both my wife and I were profoundly saddened to learn of the dreadful attack and utterly tragic loss of life in Vancouver, which took place as the Filipino community came together to mark the celebration fo one of their most special festivals,” ayon naman sa mensahe ni King Charles.
Sa isang pahayag, sinabi ni Marcos: :”As your President, and as a father, I share in your grief and your anguish.”
“The Filipino people stand together in mourning, in prayer and in unwavering support. We will do everything in our power to bring comfort, to bring help and to honor their memory with action,” ayon sa pangulo.
Sa pakikiramay sa Fil-Am community sa Vancouver, siiniguro ni Carney na ang lahat ng mga kababayan sa bansa ay nakkiramay sa sinapit ng mga biktima at ng kanilang mga pamilya.
“Last night, families lost a sister, a brother, a mother, a father, a son or a daughter., Those families are living every family’s nightmare,” ayon kay CArney.
Sinabi ng Canadian premier: “And to them and to the many others who were injuried, to the Filipino Canadian community and to everyone in th broader Lower Mainland Vancouver, I would like to offer my deepest condolences and my wishes for strength and compassion in this tragic time.”
