US eyes Iran’s oil infrastructure as next target; Tehran vows swift retaliation

After destroying military sites safeguarding Iran’s oil network, the United States will be targeting next its oil infrastructure unless oil tankers passing through the Strait of Hormuz are given free and secured passage.

US President Donald Trump aired this warning after US military forces reportedly “obliterated” armed targets in Iran’s Kharg Island that is vital to the country’s oil exports.

Reacting swiftly, the Iranian government warned of a higher level of retaliation should Trump make good his threat.

Iran has practically closed the Strait of Hormuz triggering oil crisis in at least one fifth of the world. The waterway is vital in the world oil trading with nearly one fifth of the supply passing through the strait.

Both Iran and Israel continued to trade missile and done attacks.

The Iranian military included many of its neighbors as targets, apart from Israel.

On the other hand, Israel have also been sending its bombs to both Iran and Lebanon where there is a concentration of Hezbollah that have aided the Islamic Republic’s military in fighting its enemies.

Reports revealed that Lebanon’s mortality county has reached nearly 800 with over 800,000 Lebanese being displaced by the crossfire between Israel and the Hezbollah militants.

Meanwhile Iran confirmed that no oil infrastructure has been damaged on Kharg Island. It reiterated that its enemies will pay a higher price if they target energy facilities of the country.

In Tehran, officials disclosed that limited number of oil tankers may be granted safe conduct passes through the Strait of Hormuz with the condition that trading be conducted in Chinese yuan.
