Pura V. Kalaw Elementary School (PVKES), believed to be the oldest school in Project 4, Quezon City will hold its First Grand Alumni Homecoming on February 21 at the PVKES Covered Court.

Established in 1959, the school is known for maintaining a high standard of education comparable to private institutions.

Over the years, it has produced graduates who have excelled in various fields.

Among its notable alumni are Supreme Court Associate Justice Ricardo R. Rosario, former Philippine College of Physicians president Dr. Oscar Cabahug, former Kawasaki Philippines vice president Placido Galias, and top labor lawyer Danilo Capistrano.

“This event celebrates the success stories of our alumni and honors those who continue to support and promote quality education in our dear alma mater,” said school principal Dr. Michelle Silva.

Silva said the gathering will also pave the way for the formal organization of the proposed PVKES Alumni Association.
