Ernesto Nicolas has been reported missing on Thursday night by his relatives.

Police investigators said there was a strong possibility that Nicolas drowned.

The body was discovered by residents of Barangay Banguian at around 10 am on Friday. It was fished out from the canal two hours later.

Probers said they have not yet ruled out foul play.
