According to a report by the UK news organization Independent, the senior citizen was assaulted and knocked to the ground along Ealing Road in Wembley by a man, while his female accomplice stole the victim's money.

The two suspects fled the scene, while the victim was found with a fractured skull.

He has since lost hearing in one ear, which forced him to stop working.

Last week, authorities released CCTV footage showing the pair having a discussion in the street.

"We have searched through many hours of CCTV and we believe we know who we are looking for – a woman can be seen in a fur hoodie with camouflage trousers hovering around the area where the ATM machine is," said Detective Sergeant Muhamed Ahmed, from the priority crime unit which covers Wembley.

"I am appealing to the public for help – if you know or recognize either of the suspects, then please come forward to police," he added.
