Two partylist organizations representing the senior citizen sector are likely to secure four seats in the House of Representatives, according to the latest Pulse Asia survey.
With just a week to go before the polls, the United Senior Citizens Partylist and the Senior Citizens Partylist appeared to be on track in maintaining the win column as projected by the poll survey conducted from April 20 to 24.
The two partylist organizations, currently represented in the Lower House by Reps. Mila Aquino-Magsaysay of United and Rodolfo Ordanes of Senior Citizens, may surpass the current number of nominees with additional nominees.
Magsaysay and Ordanes are the no. 1 nominee of their respective partylist groups.
The recent Pulse Asia survey revealed that the following have a strong chance of getting three seats each in the 20th Congress:
Duterte Youth 5.5 %
Agimat 5.52%
ACT-CIS 5.17%
4Ps 4.85%
Senior Citizens 4.55%
Ordanes’s group will get additional two slots in the Lower House if the survey trend continues until election time.
Meanwhile, Magsaysay’s group gained 1.51 percent to guarantee at least one seat in the Lower House.
