The Iloilo City local government has relaunched the free movie program which was initiated way back 2020.

“Now, I’m pleased to share that the Iloilo City Office for Senior Citizens Affairs (OSCA) has relaunched the Free MOview for the Senior Citizens of Iloilo City,” declared incumbent Mayor Jerry Treñas in his Facebook page on Wednesday (October 16).

He said: “This initiative was a small gesture to honor the contributions of our elderly in Iloilo City.”

The local executive recalled that in 2020, the city government iniiated the free movie program by granting all seniors in the city free entrance to a movie at the Festive Walk Cinemas, Robinsons Movieworld and SM City Cinema.

Seniors may avail of the free movie by merely presenting their senior identification cards at the ticket booth of a cinema.

Treñas said that a Memorandum of Agreement has been signed for this purpose by Vice Mayor Jeffrey Ganzon with Councilor Irene Ong, Office of the Senior Citizens head Violeta Puertollano and Executive Assistant Eleanor Gregorio.
