PANDACAN, Maynila — Good news para sa mga taga-Maynila, ipapatayo ng pamahalaang lungsod ng Maynila ang pinakamalaking pharmacy warehouse sa distrito ng Pandacan para makabili ang publiko ng murang medisina.


Ito ang inanunsyo ni Manila mayor Dra. Maria Sheilah 'Honey' Lacuna-Pangan sa groundbreaking ceremony na isinagawa sa Isidro Mendoza Health Center construction site.

Ayon sa alkalde, ang warehouse ay ipapatayo sa pakikipagtulungan ng Department of Health (DoH) at tanggapan ni Manila District VI representative Bienvenido Abante Jr. bilang bahagi ng inisyatibo ng lungsod na mapaigting ang serbisyong pangkalusugan sa mga residente ng Maynila.

"Aside from the initiation of the construction of the pharmacy warehouse, the construction of the newly improved Isidro Mendoza Health Center is another much-awaited feat, with the completion expected around April 2025. We will further strengthen the health service in Manila," pahayag ni Lacuna.

Bukod sa alkalde at Congressman Abante, sinaksihan ang groundbreaking ni Manila Health Department chief Arnold Pangan at health undersecretary Emmie Liza Perez-Chiong.

Pinahalagahan ni Lacuna sa kanyang talumpati ang pangangailangan ng publiko sa mura at accessible na medisina kung kaya itatag ang parmasyotika sa lungsod.

“Health matters are a big deal to me, so I am happy to announce that we have started the establishment of the largest pharmacy warehouse in the city. Thank you very much to Cong. Benny Abante Jr. and the Department of Health for their support to make this happen," wika nito.
