Tiger Woods arrested in apparent DUI incident resulting in car crash

MIAMI, Florida - Professional golf icon Tiger Woods has been arrested on suspicion of diriving under the influence, it was announced by the Martin County Sheriff’s Office.
Martin County Sheriff John Budensiek confirmed on Friday (March 27) that Woods was driving a Land Rover that struck a pickup truck, causing his vehicle to roll on its side.
Budensiek said his men noticed that Wood showed signs of impairment, thus, prompting the presence of DUI investigators.
“And Mr. Woods did exemplify signs of impairment,” he added.
The popular golfer was ordered to undergo DUI tests but he had apparently refused.
According to Budensiek the former world golf champion will be charged with driving under the influence, property damage and refusal to submit to a lawful test.
He was brought to the Martin County Jail following investigation but was later released.
He was not injured during the road accident.
