Media mogul Murdoch, 92, planning to marry retired scientist, his 5th

Media mogul Rupert Murdoch, 92, is planning to get married for the fifth time to a 67-year-old retired scientist who is herself a billionaire.

Murdoch, who will be 93 next week, reportedly want to take Elena Zhukova as his fifth wife. They met a year ago.

Zhukova was previously married to billionaire energy investor Alexander Zhukov who has also dabbled into politics in Russia.

Murdoch’s plan to get hitched anew came less than a year after stepped down as head of the Fox News and News Corp. He named son, Lachlan, as his replacement in the media empire.

Forbes estimated the Murdoch family fortune to be about $19 billion.

Murdoch has six children with three of four former wives.

His last marriage was to model Jerry Hall, a popular model and acress in the 1970’s. Hall was married to Rolling Stones lead singer Mick Jagger with whom she shared four children.

Murdoch and Hall cited “irreconcilable differences” for ending their union in divorce six years after getting married.

Hall, now 67, had sought spousal support from the billionaire.

Murdoch was also previously married to Australian Patricia Booker, Scottish-born journalist Anna Torv and Chinese-born Wendi Deng.

He made a fortune after inheriting his father’s newspaper business in Australia. From there, Murdoch built a news and entertainment enterprise that include the Times of London, Wall Street Journal and Fox.
