"The DOH reiterates that any such endorsements are fake, misleading, and unauthorized by the Department or any of its affiliate organizations," it said in a statement on Monday.

"Also, the Department does not engage in the promotion or endorsement of specific brands or commercial products," the DOH added.

The agency was referring to social media posts claiming that it supports commercial products such as milk or other supplements.

Health officials have also warned the individuals behind these deceitful posts that legal actions will be taken against them.

The DOH urged the public to obtain information only from legitimate sources and platforms, such as the health department.
