Doc Willie’s praises God, Singaporean doc as cancer shrinks by 60 percent

10/8/24, 6:51 AM

Dr. Willie Ong’s sarcoma has shrunk by 60 percent after six weeks of treatment in Singapore, the cancer specialist has informed the popular Filipino health advocate.

“I can only say that God loves you. I have not seen a sarcoma respond as quickly as yours,” Dr. Ang Peng Tiam told his patient after reviewing the PET scan results taken on Ong, 60.

The good news was received by Ong just two days after his wife, Dr. Liza Ong, flew to the Philippines to personally file his certificate of candidacy for senator.

The well-loved health vlogger is eyeing a seat in the Senate after losing his vice presidential bid in 2022. He has blamed the cancer growth to the stress and depression brought by bashers who mocked the political debacle he suffered.

In his October 8 statement on social media, Ong recalled that colleagues in the medical profession cried upon learning of his diagnosis.

“A 16 cm large sarcoma invading all the major blood vessels. Inporable they say. A hopeless and terminal case in the brink of death,” he said.

“Well, apparently not for my case,” said Ong.

Dr. Ang started treating him in an undisclosed hospital in Singapore six weeks ago. The cancer specialist was himself surprised that the sarcoma has “shrunk dramatically.”

Ong credited Ang and his team for the vast improvement in his health.

“This doctor can make many stage 4 cancer patients live 8 years and counting, form my conversation with his patients,” he said.

“First, I thank God for His continued guidance in my life. He plans my mission on earth and i follow,” stated Ong.

He also thanked those who prayed for him, adding that his wife and two daughters were among those who prayed .

“And of course, I thank Doc Liza and my two daughters who have never left me on this journey,’ Doc Willie said.
